for the battery tray, you might try the guy that was making all the stainless steel trays...they were a good price.

need 4-speed clutch fork

I have had a few offers, but the going rate seems to be $20 (that is what everyone asks for). SOR sells em for 15. I would rather send about $10. Sucks to have to bargain when you need the part bad!

Why, you got one Poser?

Frame and Tub

Ok people, don't all jump at once. I'm looking a decent frame to start a frame up. I could use a decent tub also. Not sure I want to bite the bullet on an aluminum or fiberglass tubs. I'm looking for advice. I have a 79 with factory a/c and p/s. Thought it would be worth rebuilding. I might part it out if I can't find a frame and tub. Thanks

I need one.....

It was a round bezel....if it comes in different colors that would be fine too. The one I saw was chrome, I liked it. I also saw one that had the Chevy emblem( not the Chevota thing) that looked kinda cool.

Looking for FJ60 5spd and t-case...

Looking for FJ60 5spd and t-case...

My 3spd is making lots of noise, so It looks like an opportunity to install a 5spd into my 72 FJ40.

Thanks,
manny

Looking for FJ60 5spd and t-case...

pretty sure most if not all fj60's in us came with 4 speed trannys.
think an H55? is what your looking for. look to spend some money, seems like the prices are around 2-3,000 for one of them- do some looking in the international section to get some ideas of what people do to obtain them.

you could pick up a 4 speed tranny that wouldnt be much hassle for a 40 pretty cheap, relatively at least.

Re:Looking for FJ60 5spd and t-case...

If you install an H55 tranny/transfer case you will lose the e-brake unless you obtain SOR's driveline e-brake kit. It is also a lot longer than a 3 speed or even a 4 speed. You can probably assume 5" or more that would need to be removed from the rear drive shaft.

Looking for FJ60 5spd and t-case...

Could I ask what year 4spds will bolt-up to my 1F 72 FJ40 w/3spd t-case?

It looks like my FJ is now looking for a 4spd.

Thanks for the correction,
manny

Looking for FJ60 5spd and t-case...

theres a kit supposedly on cruiserparts.net that has "everything" youll need to do the conversion other than clutch kit for 750.
just for an option, would probably be cheaper gathering the goods yourself.
might want to change your heading, or make a new thread to get more responses.

Need - FJ40 Bucket seats w/Frame, sliders, etc.

Looking for seats for 1974 FJ40. Need sliders and frame, unless they bolt on to stock frame. Will likely just go to salvage yard if no one has these and fabricate frame, but would rather help someone clear out the garage. Rips and tears don't matter much. Thanks.

Re:Factory Reciever Hitch for 80 series

Come on! No one has one laying around after putting on an aftermarket bumper?
