Thanks Ted and Drew.

This truck is my love and my curse... It is too perfect for me to do anything FUN with it! I am considering selling so I can buy a 60 with more "experience" so I can drive it without feeling like I need to wash it every time I get home from the grocery store. I would buy another one entirely, but that might stir up the bees nest on the home front! I already spend too much time with the truck (so I hear...).

For the posterity of cruisers everywhere, this needs to be bought by a collector, polished, and displayed... That way I can get a banged up one and bang it up some more!

If you want a 60 for camping, light offroad, even heavy offroad, then this is a great candidate, but it would cost more than twice what you would pay - there is a difference in value to a "user" versus a "collector" of these things... Nobody should buy this truck... go buy one you can use. Don't be a slave to it's perfectness like I am! SAVE YOURSELVES!!! RUN!!!

I need another 60 for therapy! I gots the cruiser sickness... I do not ever expect to sell it because first of all, I overpaid and you should not suffer for that, and second, it is pristine and thirdly, the fun in these things is USING them. Clearly I learned the third thing LAST.

I can tell you it is as close to new as any cruiser on this planet, and it is less than the original sticker price (which I know because I have that framed!).
It'll never sell and I guess I am OK with that... I just need another 60... that's all... and a good divorce attorney...

Sorry if my pics hijacked the thread. I'll see about deleting them.

Sound like you need to buy the Beagle Chariot.

It is trail proven. :D

Oh, and JeffJ60, that may be the cleanest FJ60 I have ever seen. I would definitely be scared to drive her anywhere for fear of getting a scratch or a rock chip in its museum quality condition. Absolutely amazing!
