The momentum carried over from last weekend--got some more body work done, and also made a carrier for the hi-lift to mount on the rear tire swing-out.
Here's the driver side rear quarter. I spent a little more time prepping here and used one piece of sheet metal to cover the majority of the void. I allowed an extra 1" to trim and bend inward to mate with the inner fender well. Ended up using a second piece of metal to cap the bottom. Then I laid on some body filler to cover the butt-joints.
Here's a picture of the 1/4" angle iron used to form the base. I need to drill a 5/8" hole to secure the lift to it. I used 3/16" on the upper side which will be drilled for a short bolt or pin.
