The momentum carried over from last weekend--got some more body work done, and also made a carrier for the hi-lift to mount on the rear tire swing-out.

Here's the driver side rear quarter. I spent a little more time prepping here and used one piece of sheet metal to cover the majority of the void. I allowed an extra 1" to trim and bend inward to mate with the inner fender well. Ended up using a second piece of metal to cap the bottom. Then I laid on some body filler to cover the butt-joints.

Here's a picture of the 1/4" angle iron used to form the base. I need to drill a 5/8" hole to secure the lift to it. I used 3/16" on the upper side which will be drilled for a short bolt or pin.

Looks like you are getting pretty good at the body work stuff. Wont even reconize that truck soon. Guess you will have it in fresh red paint by end of next week-end.

High lift looks good also
