Hi Guys,

I have a thread started in the 60 section but thought I would throw it out to ONSC since I know there is wealth of knowledge here.

I am looking at 2nd hand NP203 doubler with the Mudrak adapters/kit (made by AA) for the stock h42/split case.

If I understand correctly, the kit is 2 adapters to sandwich the 203 and a replacement output shaft for the 203 to 19 spline into the stock split case.
A kicker is that you need to cut your tranny output shaft which makes the mod 1-way.

Of course there is the need for x-members/linkages/drive shafts etc.

If anyone has any insight to this mod, please let me know. Info is very scarce and I've used my my search Pimp hand pretty hard.

Thanks
Dave

Seems like it requires the same amount of modifications as installing a Toybox but without 4.7:1 double low. Is it that much cheaper than a Toybox?

They don't make these anymore either..... this was really the first double available for the 60 series back before marlin made the toy box.
I think price is about the same but as backed up as marlin is making toyboxes (mini trucks come first ) it may be daves only option........ but then again he hasn't said how much the guy wants for it.

Thanks for the clarity Al, I should have looked at the dates on Mudrak's page.

I'm hoping Marlin does a run in a month as I was told on the phone. Yet, I want to have options just in case. This was one I was unaware of, I guess I need to learn to search better...

well I guess I should clarify even more, I think the adapters can still be had from marks or advanced...... I think but you'd have to call them..... after the crawl box these pretty much disappeared.

How much are the adapters for the 203? I *think the toybox is like 1500-1700. 203's can be had dirt cheap. I know it's not apples/apples, but h42/203/tcase/4.11 = 67:1 - that's almost exactly where I am w/ SM465/tcase/4.11. I can say from experience that, while not ideal, this is not bad for East Coast wheelin'

Check out the 60 post referenced above. A lot of good info has come to light. But it looks like the 2 adapters and the new output shaft from Mudrak (AA) are areound $1000, must cut the tranny output to fit 203, and theres some work to do on the splitcase side which may req a rebuild kit or gaskets at least. So maybe in the 1200 range.

I'm looking at a used unit locally here. Still talking with the seller.

Thanks for the info guys.
Dave
