Say I was going to buy a FJ55 and I wanted to coil it so that it drove like a 80 series(kinda). Is there enough room to outboard on the front for coils and shocks and on the rear inboard the springs???

Was thinking three link system with a Panhard bar like the one built in this forum?

Would OME mediums or light be better suited to the weight of a FJ55? Or would I be better off looking at some Jeep springs, someone told me they are narrower than the 89 springs, might be better suited for the space?

I have no idea as you may have noticed...

why not just get the complete diffs and suspension from an 80 and graft it on?

Lance at IronPigOffroad took the complete setup from an 80 series and put it onto an FJ55..he bobbed the pig, and it looked sweet, but he tore it apart...I don't think he ever really got it dialed in - but put lots of work into it...I'll see if I can't dig up a picture of it.
