I got a 65 fj45lwb and I need to know how the drivers seat is supposed to mount in there. I have no mount what soever, but i have what appears to be a seat that looks like it will flip up like the fj40's from that year model with the tool box under it.

Hope this makes sense. If you know where i can find something that would be muchly appreciated also.

Thanks much ya'll.

The driver's seat mounts just like the passenger's side. The back legs have tabs that get bolted to the 'ledge' that runs across the back-lower part of the cab. The front legs mount to the floor board. There should be captive nuts in all four locations, nuts welded to the under side of the floor, and the under side of the box/ledge in back.

I'll have to look tonight to see how my '63 FJ40-tool box seat, differs from the 45 seat. The tool box would be a nice addition.
