OK I have decided that someone needs to finish this
see craigslist link at click here FJ45 LWB TOYOTA LANDCRUISER

NEW PRICE 4000.00

Price is $4500.00 I have attached pictures but go to the craigslist ad above for more description. Frame freshly sandblasted painted and primed included. Some other parts come with the truck also.

Give Kiel a shout, he got right back to me to talk about it. Looks like a good value for the right person. Has it's issues, but they all do. If I were local to him this probably wouldn't be getting a bump right now. ;)

Not all of it is 64. That bed looks a lot newer. Floor looks to good for a 64. Those four hinges on the tailgate and reverse lights give it away. Maybe from the same vehicle as the hood. Are they off the frame that's included?

And....nobody has pointed out the bezel yet? If only it were in Wyoming, I couldn't stop myself. Very fair price.

Yeah you 45 guys are good. I think that the upper cab,tailgate and bed are from a 1970's era truck but not where the frame is from, hood & fenders from latter model as well. And dukes I left the bezel on that way for comments.

How bad is the original frame? What was done to it? How deep is that bondo on the rear side bed? Does it have a GA title? What's the VIN on the old and newer frame? Is the data tag on the fender or firewall?

The original frame is toast, that's why I got the other one. The bondo on rear side bed can be removed and repaired without much effort, dont know how to answer the how deep question looks like someone just didnt know how to use bondo and instead of straightening metal they just filled it in. Title is not required in GA for a vehicle this old. Vin #on older frame is welded over so who knows, newer frame vin number indicates a 1964 FJ45. The bill of sale will have the 1964 frame vin number as it was when I bought the truck No data tag on the fender or firewall. I got your cell number from your email and have left a message for you.

I am cutting the price to $4000.00 to the Mudd board first.
Someone needs to finish this truck. These trucks are getting harder and harder to find so if someone wants a truck you need to move on this. I got lots of emails from the west coast but the cost of transportation seems to be a big issue,having to move the truck and the frame.
The value of these 45's will only rise in the future so now is the time.

Guess it is time to go on EBAY, sure wish someone on the list would pick this up and finish it out.

Yes it does have a good F motor, 4-speed, transfer case is cracked. New frame has a disc brake front axle.
Most of the inquiries have come from the west coast and the problem is shipping because you have a frame and a complete truck. If I were on the west coast this would not have lasted but a few days. I think the east coast guys just don't the value and unusual nature of the 45LWB PU. If you look at the price of just a frame, bed & tailgate and disc brake front end you would be getting close to 4Kin parts, but this is a complete truck. I will give it a couple of more days then to EBAY it goes.

I mean no disrespect, but before you start dissing people, you might want to take a look at the mess you have...like '64 frame numbers but no other tags, parts from here and there, and did you say a cracked T-case?

It's too bad, cause it's not a bad looking rig, and does have some potential...but I doubt I could not even import it as is.

I am not dissing anyone, just trying to be as honest as possible about the truck. And as you have said you have been looking for a decent 45 and you know how hard they are to find. As far as parts from here and there they are toyotal parts not chevy v-8 conversions, weber carb, headers etc. I also am not asking 15K for the truck.
Also I have come across several landcruisers with cracked transfer cases so I don't know how unusual that is and transfer cases are plentiful and cheap.
How many rust free complete FJ45 LWBPU's have you come across in Canada?
 
Take it to MAACO, get it painted for cheap and sell it for $8K next week on eBay!

When your price is too low for what it is, the skeptics come thru the woodwork. You should have started at $8500 and worked your way down. Case in point, someone asked if it even had an engine in it for what you are asking! Your price is way too low.

Get a replacement xfer case for $50 to throw in to the next owner to neutralize that complaint.

Seriously, eBay this after painting it and I'll take 20% commission. Spending a little more will get you way more when you sell it. It's a damn nice truck and if I had the space I'd snap it up!!
