Is it possible to import this truck into the U.S. without running into headaches with government regulations?

I'm curious how the LPG conversion would be viewed by Customs inspectors. It's old enough to meet the EPA exemption so it shouldn't be a problem.

I also wonder if a RORO shipping vessel would have a problem with the presence of an LPG tank in the truck.

You might want to check with Dave, the last I heard someone was coming over to take a look at it...

But you should be able to import it as long as it is 25 years old, or older.

Um - no. If the truck is at least 25 years old it is not hard. Several people do it on the board. If you want no hassle get a broker to handle the transaction for you.
