Decided to go with aftermarket seats so selling factory driver and passenger seats from 1964 FJ45 Long wheel base removable top pickup.

Seats are very ugly but frames are solid. Springs seem good, no broken springs as far as I can tell. These seats will need to be completely upholstered with padding and covers. Covers and padding are falling apart.

Seats have been sold.

I actually haven't decided on the type of seat I will use. I've just decided that I won't be using the FJ45 factoy seats. I may use the stock (but reupholstered) bucket seats from my 79 FJ40 in the FJ45. I want to go with different seats in the 40 so these may end up in the 45.

Hey kellyo,
The white FJ40 was sold to yzftaco if that's the one you were thinking about. That was sold about 3 years ago, IIRC.

I started working on the FJ45 after selling the 40. It is turning into a long, long, project. Maybe, I'll have something to drive for next year's 45 run. Build thread is here:

I haven't updated the thread is a couple months because I've made no progress in that time. I hope to get back to it this month after making some repairs on my wife's 40.

These seats are now back on the market. Same price, $75 takes both driver and passenger seat. The upholstery and padding are dry and falling apart. The frames are good. There is one repair to one of the frames done by a PO. Looks like it might be brazed, maybe even a JB Weld repair, its hard to tell. They do have some surface rust but no structural issues as far as I know.

I will not ship these seats. You must pick them up.

Ha Ha ! Dan sent me a PM about picking these up, I am in So Calif. If its cool with you we can try to arrange to get these picked up and to me then I will get them to Dan. I am going to Surf n Turf its getting late but that might be an option also Thanks Rob

I'm fine with whatever you want to arrange as long as someone picks them up but no one has contacted me to work anything out.

So, they are still available...
