What you looking fo get for those?.....bit rough...

I agree that they are rough. Send me a PM or email w/ an offer and let's see what we can do. I have a few other things I'm going to post from my build too.

I reckon that the better lense would be good for molding and making repos!

I thought FoxFab had a mold made and did repros a few years ago. I have a pair of them.

Nice Lenses

Those are gold......since the last repro's are all gone......I know I paid $160 for the last pair spector had...which he may have bought from foxfab......glad I grabbed them...some one needs to repro these again.....HHmmm...in fact those lenses have to be on a rig some where in Sacramento........Hey Sam, how about some pics of the 65 LPB

Are you talking LPB or LV? I was unawair that Foxfab made repops for the LPBs...I saw that he made LVs some time back..
The LPBs repops are still available.......cost ya a kidney..but there out there

Foxfab, made LV, LPB and 55 series reproduction lenses, I know because I ended up with at least 1 pair of each. Only ones I have left are the LPB versions. I'll have to dig them out.

Did anyone else notice that only 1 lense is any good in the first pics? The bleached out side is not original on the cracked lense.

I believe the cracked lens with the straight white ribbing is from a Toyota Stout pickup of the same vintage.
The metal lamp housings and the lenses are interchangeable.
For the Stout, I have seen original red/white lenses, but not red/red, or red/amber.

I don't believe red/white was a factory option on the Land Cruiser pickups, but rather the original amber color can bleach-out on the weather-worn older lenses.

Does anyone have a definitive answer; perhaps an original Stout owner out there?

FJ45 lenses mid-range--OEM

These are the rarely seen 1968-1975 lenses.
While importation of the 45s was halted in many countries, production continued for the rest of the world during this period. Why this was so would be an interesting topic to pursue.
Note: these are ledged with a mid-level overhang similar to some Mercedes lenses of that era.
Note also the continuation of the license-lamp cutout in the bottom of the first lamp housing at the top of the photos; again indicating the placement of the rear license plate below the handed-lamp with the cutout--there are two different metal lamp housings--only one has the cutout--it is the one with the white back-up lamp on its left side.
Lastly, note that the factory supplied the replacement lenses in a snap-together configuration: the red/white section is factory bonded; the amber section snaps on. Perhaps there was a red smaller snap-on section for some markets/countries.

This lamp and its lenses is wider than the earlier FJ45 and Stout lamp/lenses, but is less wide than the 1976 lamp/lenses in the following photo.

Last version of the longbed lamp/lenses

These were used from 1976-1986, same as the J40 series, but two years beyond the production end of the FJ40, etc..
And they are wider than either the first or the mid-range versions.

Bear, interesting, lots of info. The 2 stouts I've seen had the lenses similar to LPB's. Don't recall ever seeing the ones you show. Also the top stout lense, broken one, looks to have a different shape than the good lense.
Thanks for the pics and info.
does the wife appreciate you using the dining room table?
