fj40jim carb rebuild?

Hi all, I have an 81 fj40 that needs a carb rebuild and I'd like to get it rebuilt so it will work well with a desmog. I know Jim Chenoweth is the guy to do it, what's the best way to get a hold of him?

Or if there is anyone in Seattle who has a recommendation of a rebuilder locally?

It's worth waiting for Jim. He's done 3 for me and is really excellent. Highly recommended.

Got my JimC rebuild back last week. Installed it and she cranked first turn with no choke. I've put over 500 miles on the truck since and it runs like a champ.

I waited for 6-7 weeks for mine but it was well worth it and would do it again it need be.

You should also consider Mark at Marks Off Road Home Page. He also has a very good reputation with carb rebuilds and I believe may have a quicker turn around for you.
