it attaches via hinges at the bottom and then I had a barrel slide at the top. I don't think I have the hinges anymore but will check when I get home tonight. I can also take closer pictures of the attachment points at that time

Would be interesting to see the other side. The side pictured looks nothing like the drop tailgate on my ‘64 FST.

here's a picture from the other side. I can't find the hinges the hardware that I used for attachment. I do not feel this is stock, it came with the rig when I bought it and fit my BJ42 perfectly. I switched to fiberglass half doors in place of the tailgate when I had my rig refurbished several years ago. This tailgate has been sitting in my basement for a few years and its time to clean stuff out.
