I have a problem with 40s
Removed from a 1970 FJ40, I remember this being removed from the passenger side. It Deflects Mud and debris from rear sill. In great shape with no rust thru. Needs blasted and paint. $40 plus shipping.

Interesting this is off a 1970 model. I've only seen on some 71s and all 72s. These were only on the right side and protected a tank that was part of emissions. I've collected a number of these year ago for the purpose of a splash guard for the rear corners. Best way to keep sill from rusting I keep clean and dry.
Probably a early 71 model. All my came off hard tops. Got my first one twenty-two years ago. Then gathered the rest out of junk yards shortly after. These on models with the split back passenger's seat. Think the wheel well tank went MIA well before the rest of the emissions did. Which explains why they are so rare. Mid nineties I knew of a few junk yards that had cruiser that had been there for many years.
I don't have the microfiche in front of me, but IIRC, they started in 2/70. That sticks in my mind as the transition point where they put the first incarnation of the fuel separator in the center of the front seat and reconfigured the fuel tank accordingly.
