Fj40 paint help perth

hi guys,
ive got an '82 fj40 swb hard top. Originally the car was beige but the previous owner has sprayed it black. Problem is thats all hes done, sprayed over it. No sanding no primer no nothing...
Im interested on getting some new paint professionaly done. No fancy stuff maybe just a midnight blue or black. I was wondering if anyone knew a rough cost and/or a reputable painter in or around perth (southern suburbs prefferably but not essential)

Good to see another West Aussie on here. There's a panel and paint shop down the end of Baden Street in Osborne Park. His workshop is opposite Rowallan St and a while ago quoted me a good price $500 on a respray but it was for me to do all the prep work. Best is to just drive around and get some quotes and check out the work they do whilst you're there. Keep it original mate and respray it the sand beige colour. $1500 to $2500 should get you a decent paint job, $2500+ would get you a very nice finish.
