I just purchased a '72 FJ40 and decided that I will never use the doors or hard top so I would rather sell them than store them. I have them on EBAY but can always end the auction if I get a buyer here. The hardtop is nice with no rot. All glass is good and the seals are nice. Rear hatch is complete and works. The doors are also nice and come complete with all glass and hardware. Windows roll up and down. The door seals are completely dried out. $1000 for the hard top and $600 for the pair of doors. Local pick up only in Louisville KY, 40245.

Am I better off separating the top into pieces to sell separately? I see ebay postings for just the fiberglass roof asking more than this whole top. Also, I see more people looking for individual pieces as well and there is a possibility to ship some pieces if separated.

It's hope you've sprayed every fastener with pb blaster for a few weeks. Otherwise you're going to be breaking a lot of bolts.

I do not plan to use this hardtop ever so I want to move it. The 40 is for sale as well but I may keep it now but have no interest in the hard top.
$600 picked up in Louisville.
Glass, hatch and fiberglass are good. Some rust on main body but not bad. Look at the pics.
Exterior latch broke when moving it but they are like $50
