Cant get to the bolts on the back side of the top door hinges. Need to pull the pins with the hinges installed. I've tried punches and door hinge tools/the pins won't budge - anyone have any other suggestions?

Get a the biggest punch/drift that you can, should be just one size smaller than the pin. I have a big long one that I got from Sears. It's large on one end and tapered down. I start with that one and when it no longer fits through, I switch to a long nosed drift.

Use painters tape to hold a piece of thick rubber to the side of the truck so you don't hit it with a hammer.

Hold chisel with vice grips

I like a drilling hammer, not to big, not to small. IIRC a two pounder.

My friend Jim spent a whole day getting his out of his HJ45

Use lots of penetrating oil before you even get close to it.

This is one of those two people jobs...

This is NOT a fun job. Once I finally got mine out I replaced the bushing and lubed the hell out of them. Also if you put the top pin in upside down its a lot easier the next time.

I just unbolted from the tub. Then heated the stuck one up to get the pin out.
