For Sale fj40 aisan reman carb "new"

This came with the fj40 I purchased 6+ years ago. Appears to be aisan remanufactured by Tomco. All my cruisers are diesels so it's collecting dust. 150 plus shipping

Its not a Landcruiser carb. I've had more than one customer who got bit buying one of those. Maybe the Tomco box has a PN you can xref. I tossed my Tomco book when I cleaned my office last month.

Take a closer look at the pics in the link you posted.

1. EGR tube in the phenalic spacer between fuel bowl and throttle body.
2. Temp sensor hole is in throttle body, not fuel bowl.
3. Air horn throat is WaY small for a 2F and
4. Incidentslly has the air cleaner stud broken off in it

There are more discrepancies, but these should suffice.

Like I said, it's not the first time I've seen Tomco do this.

No way near a carburetor expert like you but did pick up the broken stud. Thought the stud on Land Cruisers were centered in the opening? This one appears offset.
