I have disconnected the coil, starter, and pulled all fuses, and still have a 1.5V drain with the positive battery terminal cable disconnected from the + battery post and a voltmeter between the + battery post and the + battery cable. Cannot find the origin of this small electrical drain...any suggestions? I doubt if this normal? Thanks in advance.

Sounds like your not testing the system correctly. Voltage is measured in parallel, at two points in a complete circuit. Current draw (or amps) is measured in series, with your meter included in the circuit. By measuring in way you described all you are doing is reading the voltage difference between the positive terminal and the positive post, which doesn't really tell us much. Perform the same test you have already done except with the meter set to read amps draw, this will tell you if you've got a drain somewhere.

The voltage drop may be meaningless. The current (amps) is a better indicator of a drain.
