So on the original fj40 you could ditch the doors and roof.

ANY chance that they will come out with a version of the FJ Cruiser that will have removable doors and top?

I think there is a much better chance of this happening than for Toyota to equip one with SFA or diesel.

Probably a couple of few years down the line and more likely a soft top/convertible than removeable ht...like PT Cruiser, VW Beetle, Mustang etc.

I've said it before, but I'd seriously consider the FJ if this were to happen.

Exactly why I ask Brent, I"d also be in the market for one, no doors and top would be out of this world free.

At least with the soft top down you would remove the ridiculously large blind spot. When I had the FJ Cruiser tooling around So Cal I actually lost an Escalade in the blind spot. I had to lead forward in my seat about five inches and there it was. This would have made the lane change interesting.

have you guys seen the new Jeep wrangler 2007 . Its going to be wider and a little more round. It looks to be almost the size of the new fj cruiser. Well. maybe toyota will see that if a bigger wrangler model jeep can still have a removable top than it wouldn't be too hard imagine what one would look like on the new fj cruiser. Thats what i thought when i saw the 2007 model wrangler that will be comming out. :)

I have this image of an FJ no top no doors, roll bar, lift and tires blazing the trail.

and then I woke up

Erm, *cough* sawzaw *cough*

If I had the cash I"d give Chip Foose a call and arrange a Chopp session. I'm all about the do it yourserlf home chop and would do it with another LC, but not the new FJ. Do it once and do it right.

BUT if your buying th FJ then I'll listen to the little sawzaw bird sitting on my shoulder. playa playa

Sam

I'd need a few of these to get the job going:beer:

Anyone with photoshop skills care to give a topless rendition of an FJ cruiser?

Throw a lift and some tires on the time while were at it.

I did a really poor chop...let me see if I can find it....

I am sorry for this, really I am.....I call it uglyfins :flipoff2:

Interior was out of a pt or something. Chop was before we knew what the interior looked like.
