I tried to source one years ago but struck out. I ended up going a different route by adding a spare carrier from a 68 onto my passenger side to hold the jerry can. Mine works with or without ambulance doors/hardtop and is stronger than mounting it to the door.

It's not a very stout item but I have had good luck with mine over many miles with a full can and rough terrain. But the Sceptor cans do not fit well. Okay one of mine fits tight and the other, identical looking can, does not fit.
Just get some rotopax they're a lot lighter and don't leak.

So I've been looking to buy the mount and plate bracket from you @Racer65 but I'm trying to figure out how this bills to the swing ut door. Is there a mounting frame that goes with the carrier?
