if a toyota reman, it will I recall have a -84 after the part #

I had the door apart on my 92 the other day, I had 12.6volts(not 14) direct to the motor............the damn windows fly up and down when power is put direct to them, but when hooked up thru the switch they are slow

when i took mine out to get it tested, it had a reman sticker on it, pretty sure it was a toyota reman but not for certain. have to look and see if I can tell with it in there.

Hmmmmm,
thinking of some new fixes for the slow window fix........

Makes good sense if you combine Riley's theory and land pimps test at applying current directly to the window motors and getting much faster window operation..... ie smaller wiring(in the window switches and wiring circuits), creating more resistance and less current flow to where it should be going, that ends up going some where else. The alternator is doing its job, but just sorta a "wrong route" problem with the regulator and/or wiring...... again makes a lot of sense.

Good theories really good..... and phaedrus give us your thoughts on a good solution for the slow window fix... how about a "plug and play" beefed up window harness?

Feeding the addiction with the purchase of two new cruiser projects has slown me down a little on testing my 91 although I bet you guys have it narrowed, I'll still post any significant finds in the next few days.
