FJ 80 Center console options? (1 Viewer)

Hey all,

Does anyone know of any aftermarket center consoles that work well in the 80?

My stock console has seen better days and is not very secure. I'm familiar with Tuffy and tried to fit one of their consoles before but it did not mate up well with the shift console. Any thoughts are appreciated.

Randy,

Not clear on what you're looking for. If you want to just replace the worn out unit, why not get a salvage console. cruiserparts.net, or mud parts for sale.

I would also think that the aftermarket units will decrease resale value.

Might want to search the 80's section. There is someone who purchased a Tuffy Center console and it fit pretty good. Find the thread for the right model tho as the Tuffies are avail in different widths, etc..

Thanks for the input guys. Good idea about salvage DTaylor and thanks for the links Kevin. That's what I was looking for. Opposite Lock makes custom units which sound interesting. I'll check it out!
