I was wondering what a FJ-62 without, Axels, motor, tranny, T-Case, and Steering stuff might weigh? Possibly found one for parts for my 60 series and need to know what im going to have to use to get it.

Id say a little over 3000, i mean all its gonna be is a body and a frame. The auto weighs a ton, and so does a 3f. Seriously though, how you gonna move it without axles?

actually just thinking about it i will winch it onto the trailer and take it apart on the trailer and take what i don't use to the junk yard or a fellow mudder if he/she needs a frame.

I am doing the same thing more or less, ripping the body off an 80 series then off of a 62, hauling the 80 series to the junk yard ploping the 62 on the 80series frame and axles....

my plan....is a dumb one.

which I will not say becuase I already know its a bad idea on how to get the body off but I got no other way;p

I don't have much room, or a garage. I am thinking about using metal bars(the round type) on the deck of the trailer to make loading and unloading a bit easier.
