Sadly I am not as good as i used to be at backing trailers and took out the passenger side tail light yesterday.

I am looking for suggestions on where to find one the cheapest since they are rare in the junkyard or if any of you have a spare for sale please post and let me know

Also should an recently tuned FJ62 (plugs, timing, belts, rebuilt the knucks, changed the front, rear and transfer case grease, and filled the tank with gas ;)) pulling an unloaded 6x10 trailer into the wind not be able to maintain 75 mph? holy :censor: :censor: I finally tucked in behind a semi and ran 70 since I could only make 75 with it floored!

thanks in advance for the the help!

Chris

Cruiserparts.net or maybe Nix 99 would be your best bets for a new tail light, followed by Spector Offroad. You should also check the classifieds here to see if anyone has one or is parting out an FJ62.

As for cruising at 75 mph with a trailer, consider yourself lucky if you can pull it off. Many of us feel glad to reach that speed in an FJ62 without a trailer slowing us down. Maybe if you drain some of those new fluids and gas, you'll lighten the load and reach the promised land... just kidding. Sort of. :)

thanks ballard! cruiserparts and Spector Offroad are $30+ :doh:

where are the classifieds?

do you have an extra trans cooler? needed for trans life while towing.

the stock one is in the radiator, add another for trans life, whether towing or not.

yeah so far no luck :(

bumpity bump in hopes of new eyes having the answer -- no luck in the classifieds so far

got one of them, less than $20 shipped.

THANKS! :clap::clap:

I saw some tailight covers on ebay earlier today. Don't know how new they were though.
