My son just bought a pretty nice 88 Fj 62. How much did they cost new ?

I have the sticker; it says $22,995.00

A/C was an $890 option. Carpeted floor mats; $82

I wonder how that compares to their price tag now when adjusted for inflation? I bet they have become even more expensive.
