FJ 62 Brake Booster (1 Viewer)

I have the hiss of death so I am looking to replace the brake booster in my FJ 62.

Has anyone had any luck finding someone in the Atlanta area who rebuilds boosters?

What about a good reman'd booster??

Any help is appreciated.

We use a place called "Brake Specialties" (404-659-2406) for all of our brake parts. Boosters can be a bit hard to find sometimes but they shouldnt have a problem finding one for a 62. They can be rebuilt but the last booster (74ish) that we tried to have rebuilt they couldnt find a new diafram for so we usualy just replace them. BSC is downtown just a couple of blocks west of Turner Field. Ask for Steve and tell him we sent you.

Thanks for the help guys. I have decided to replace with a used, very cheap booster. We will see how it goes and how long it lasts. I will rebuild mine as a last resort because the two quotes I have gotten are over $400.
