I need to replace the battery cables due to the fact that the post clamps are worn and wont stay tight on the post anymore. Toyota wants an insane amount for the set. What are my other options?

you can use welding cable 2 ga...same way that i use 
I say make your own as well. A lot here have used 2/0 welding cable.

Welding cables are definitely the way to go....however.... if you want to fix them right now and have them work like new and spend zero $$.... while you save up for the welding cables do this :
Remove the 10 mm bolt & spread the post clamps apart...get a flat file & shave off just a bit from each side of the clamp...put it back on...tighten it up & you are good to go.
Later you can get the welding cables.

you can get good cable off ebay by the foot, or you can go to most starter repair shops and they can make you what ever you want, around here he uses 2/0 (he bought the wire a while ago so he still charges old wire prices) Ill be buying new sets for all my vehicles next week,,,

If the cable is OK why don't you simply get some new brass marine clamps. They are very tough, resist corrosion, and will be the last you will need.
Use pieces of soft copper pipe you can get from somoene who does plumbing or AC, 5/16 or 3/8, insert stripped wire, smash flat, solder, drill 5/16" for neg and 3/8" for pos and install on the marine clamp's threaded posts. Or simply on your existing battery posts if you already have them (no need for a marine clamp then
)
Urban Landcruisers uses marine grade cable, and if you have priced out materials alone for what they offer it is a good deal to buy theirs.

I just had Urban LC's installed on my truck. Great addition, beefy add-on if you can afford or want to pay for them. Just my 2cents.
