going to the junk yard in the morning ,got lucky maybe . sitting on the couch this morning had my fj62 on the brain needing various parts .remembered last year sitting at this junk yard was a cruiser wagon.going after rear end for sure .of course the guy dont know what it is .(man its a 4 door land cruiser there all the same right.)i just agreed i know the rear is the same minious lockers and etc. but im wondering if the gas tank is the same as the 62 i know the 60s are carb of course i just dont know if in the later60s models they also moved the fuel pump to the tank .just wish i would have remembered it a month ago when i spent 2 grand.im going to try to talk them out of the whole thing to my amazement he said it was complete
ok im in paden city wv but i went up to look at the sixty its at toms wreaking sat 9 to 1 #740 374 9199 guy is not real helpfull just wanted to up to it with my 62 and make comparisions he would only let me get close as 60 feet as parking goes which was ok i suppose but then i wanted the door handle no you have to buy the whole door what the heck is that about. i suppose if i wanted the rear end i have to take the whole frame to and the front end. and it was parked on a hillside so i did not dare to ask to move it so i gave up and walked away. i will not be around this week end but there is a guy that did own a couple of sixtys i will not to help you find him drove one and the other was on ebay he was from elkins which is were you are headed whole rig 1.800 bucks let ya know what i find
im sure in the near future he is headed to divorce court
