@Graniteone Hey man -- gonna try to revive this thread if I can, as I just picked up my first fj60 today. Super stoked on getting starting on the resto project. The body is 85-90% there, but I'm aiming to replace the driver side rear quarter panel since there obvious body filler over the wheel well that needs to be cut out and done properly.I bought a set of quarter panels from Wolf and they were super responsive and they appear to be legit quality.
I don't yet have personal experience, but from what I've gleened on MUD, the body lines are off and rear corner will need some forming. When I'm ready to do this, I decided to get these from Jason (when back in stock).@Graniteone Hey man -- gonna try to revive this thread if I can, as I just picked up my first fj60 today. So to that point, it's been a little while since this thread was live -- how was your experience looking back using the panels from Wolf? Still pleased with the quality of steel?
The metal on the panels was fine but the fitment took extra effort. Kelly Saad on Mudd is starting to make his own panels, not sure if they are for resale or just his customers only. Best of luck.@Graniteone Hey man -- gonna try to revive this thread if I can, as I just picked up my first fj60 today. Super stoked on getting starting on the resto project. @adamsfly pics look great-- thanks for sharing. I'm wondering what gage steel your replacement panels are? I spoke with Wolf Steel today, and despite what other mud members have claimed, the gage steel they recommend is .036 + or - a bit. So that tells me it's closer to 20g steel, since .035 is exactly 20g. Did you find the replacement panel/steel to be a bit thicker or thinner than the original body panel when jointing up? Thanks! My two cents on panels from wolf steel. Having never done this sort of thing before, cutting and welding in panels, I was told that aftermarket panels usually need some extra work on fitment. The rocker panel fit really good with minimal extra effort for fitment and it was the full length at 56". The fender repair piece needed some work but overall I was happy with the parts.

Have had a couple rigs done up.... I don’t do the body work but my body guy says that the Wolf Steel is good. He didn’t have complaints and almost ten years later the panels are still in and rust free@adamsfly pics look great-- thanks for sharing. I'm wondering what gage steel your replacement panels are? Just curious how this ended up shaking out for you? I need to replace my driver's side rocker, wheel well and rear quarter on my 84 and trying to figure out Cruiser Corps vs Wolf and it's been a while since this thread started!Hey everyone; getting some repairs done on my 89 FJ62, looking at the following parts:
QUARTER PANEL REAR / LEFT PATCH
QUARTER PANEL REAR / RIGHT PATCH
LOWER DOOR SKIN - PATCH PANEL - LEFT - FRONT
LOWER DOOR SKIN - PATCH PANEL - RIGHT - FRONT
LOWER DOOR SKIN - PATCH PANEL - RIGHT - REAR
LOWER DOOR SKIN - PATCH PANEL - LEFT - REAR
Plan to reach out to Wolf tomorrow regarding my inquiry but wanted to ask if its worth getting them from Cruiser Corps as per their website they are available. Had a bad exp in the past with them in 2021. Not sure if things are better now
