Gals and guys,
Carlos y Carlos (otherwise known as Carlos^2) asked me to assess interest in the Owyhee discovery non-sanctioned run in mid to late summer (as I recall). The trail is just west of Boise, ID (907 miles one-way or 13 hr 50 min according to google).
I will be pushing this at tomrrow's club meeting. I put in for july or ?.
Reach out to me the usual ways (mud/email/text).
Briefly: Hugging the border of eastern Oregon and southwestern Idaho, is a rugged and unforgiving land known as the Owyhee Canyonlands. A trip through the Owyhee will quickly shed light as to why this corner of the Pacific Northwest is so beloved by locals.
Details:
-overview: see attached "Overland the Owyhee Canyonlands _ Route Guide.pdf"
-gpx: see attached "owyhee-disco-trail.gpx"
-kmx: see attached "owyhee-disco-trail.kmx"
Keep on keeping on
