While the pin stripes would have likely rubbed out of the paint, I don’t have to spend the time now. Wasn’t sure if I really liked these things or not but now, for a dedicated adventure rig that is going through brush and trees a lot, they do what they were designed to do.

Yep, like many things, to each his own. The fasteners are removable. They are just stuck on with 3M tape, though it would be a pain to remove and reinstall frequently. Given the truck is only used for wheeling/camping trips, I’ll likely just keep the panels on most of the time.
