Hey everyone,

I have been lurking around this forum for a while now but never got around to make a profile. I am a FORD guy at heart I have been hotroding since I was in Highschool. I got into the toyotas when I got my 1987 4runner 22re(pic is below).Since then I am a toyota and ford guy :). I got my cruiser about 3 weeks ago and quickly got to work on it. Here are some pics. I hope I can contribute in some way. The fj in the back ground belongs to my girl.

What i have done so far is arb bumper, 866 springs, diff drop on the way, awning is sitting in the garage until i finish building my rack, safari snorkle, 295/75/16 bfg at's.

I also saw everyone spraying their wheels in gun metal and it looks great. I wanted a little bit different so i went with a gun metal type base with a copper type tint/flake.... I am very happy with the color. If anyone wants to see what it looks like i can take a close up.

Oh I also want to go ahead and mention that the snorkel cost me about 1500 dollars to put on the truck.
I cut my middle finger to the bone installing the damn thing!!!! That zip tie got the best of me GRRR
My girl laughed after we got back from the ER after i got stitched up :)

Take it from me, hide the wallet. Not because you have a maintenance hassle rig, but because the damn mods are ENDLESS!!!!!
 
The wallet is staying out until my girl takes it from me lmao!!!
I approach my mods with care... I do a little to her truck... Then I do ALOT to mine :)

That's my approach too, My wife has an F150 and her own Harley so she can't ever complain about me spending money on my rides.

Snork, great looking rig. Yes, please try to show more detail of the wheels.

From your posts, it sounds like you'll fit right in here. Welcome, although I'm still trying to find the right 100.

I will post pics of the bronz/gunmetal wheels as soon as the weather gets better....

I do not have the 4runner anymore .... man i loved that little truck i got about 23 miles per gallon i upgraded becasue i fish ALOT and it just wasnt towing my boat like i wanted it to..... but damn that thing was a little tank i could do whatever whith that thing ... i would just point it in the direction i wanted to go and there it went......

And i am down for a houston outing send me then info
 
Well i took a little trip to toledo bend to do some fishing off the kayaks i said i would try to post a pic with the color of the wheels showing a little more here is one that kind of show it.

great looking truck. What part of houston are you in? I'm feeling a little passed due for a houston 100 outing.
 
Im in the nw area 290 and Jones.... Most of my outings end up with me fishing some how lol I am down to do something else so if you set something up im down.

I cut my middle finger with a blade all the way down to the bone.... I was cutting the zip tie on the antenna motor and my blade was getting dull not a good way to go down :(

I like the copper on the wheels im not sure how it would look on another rig that is not white with the brownish grey trim but i thought i would post it just to give an idea its very subtle but kinda pops when u see it in the sun I like it allot.
