I think the loud diesel idle is from wherever the camera operator is filming from. If you notice, the close ups don't have that diesel clatter. Also, starting at 1:32 into the film, the LC drives off, and it sounds like gasoline to me.

I have seen an armored LC200, and it was gasoline, but that does not mean armored LC200 diesels don't exist. I have also seen armored LC100s, and they were either diesels or gas engined. Depends on the armorers and preferences.
