FYI. I was just advised my dealer has received their first allocation although it will not be for sale and will be a demo only vehicle.

Here are a few pictures I took. It is a very nice vehicle overall. It was a premium with Marc Levinson. No AHC. I honestly think my 2011 LC drives a bit better. I don’t know if there was something up with the one I was driving but a lot of the small bumps came through. I’m a little bummed overall to be honest there are some much nicer aspects of it but the price tag alone is enough to give you pause for a what little changes seem to have occurred. I may be more motivated when there is a hybrid drivetrain. Either way Momma is going to get one as soon as something comes in close to her spec.

The LX is something like 400 lbs lighter than the 200. When it comes to dampening small bumps, sheer mass wins. That’s likely why the LC probably rides smoother on certain surfaces.
Also tire and wheel size and air pressure influence the ride a lot.

Was that with the 22” wheels or the 18”? If 18”, I am shocked that it rode poorly.

Thanks for the quick review. Definitely enjoy a comparison to the outgoing model.

I have watched a lot of russian 300 test drives and all complained about feeling all bumps and "goat ride" behavior without ahc (300 no option) and all were saying that it was reserved for luxury brother (LX600). Personally I will wait for more LX test drives from real 200 owners for comparison between trims as I think going with luxury trim for AVS (adaptive suspension) is the big deal here. Sort of crazy to get base and get annoyed with every pothole. I do not know if there is a difference in just AVS or AVS+ AHC together. Hopefully someone can clarify that.

Yeah, they should just make everything heavier.

I drove the LX in Chantilly, pictured above, as well and found the ride to be the same as my 2018 200-series. I took a series of pictures of the window sticker because the glare was awful. The photos are equally awful, but I can make it that it had the
Appearance Package: $1295
Mark Levinson: $2,660
Premium Paint Charge: $500
Cargo Mat, Cargo Key, Key Glove and Wheel locks: $335

It did not have the 18" rims. Base price was $95,000
Options $4,970
Handling Fee: $1,345
Total: $101,135

I'm partial to the 18" rims, but who knows if there will be a configuration with those rims on the Premium in the Eminent White Pearl. I want Ultra White, but am not overly interested in the "pimping" on F-Sport no the grill.

You thought it rode well? I must be losing it.

I'm number 19 on the list for an LX600 at MSRP at Cavender Lexus of Lubbock. They said they're getting about 1 LX per month.

I called Fox Lexus of El Paso where I bought a new LX570 in 2014. I had the option to be #6 on their list with a $1,000 deposit, but they want $10K over MSRP.

I'd rather wait than pay above MSRP.
