I need to get recertified for first aid for work and my local isn't having any classes for a while- anyone got a good suggestion for what and where?

Kief, how extensive/long do those types of classes usually run? Is it like a 1 day thing or multiple subjects/tests?

Usually 8hrs for a total newbie class, 4hrs if you present your most recent card. I'm technically required to have a current card for my job... after renewing it every year or two the class get boring, except they always change the number of chest pumps to M2M ratios..

Yeah these days they say no more m2m just chest compressions... WTF?

Ah gee whiz- no stale tobacco dead guy lung stench right back at ya???

A buddy of mine had that priviledge once, he quit smoking after trying to revive a former heavy smoker who had a heart attack.. yuck..

I think they say that most of the time they don't live and tell ya to get counceling if you are tramatized if they don't live. I think they just like making a couple hundred bones for teaching a weekend first aid class.
