Wanting to shuttle firewood out to our cabin in my stock 2008 LC. Will mostly be seasoned hemlock. Anyone have an inkling as to how much I can get in there before I start hitting weight issues?

you've got about 1300 lbs of payload capacity which includes any tongue weight and people/gear. You have about 83 cuft of volume with the middle and rear seats folded down. A cord of would weights 2000 to 3000 lbs and is 128 cuft. Fill it half full and you will be fine but will have a mess inside.

Thanks for doing the math for me.

I plan on putting down some tarps to mitigate the mess but it is also a vehicle that gets used for a variety of messy endeavors.

I realize the answer is about a year late, but if anyone is wondering how much chopped firewood can fit in the back of a 200 with rear seats removed but second row still up, the answer is a quarter cord. Fits just about perfectly.
