When I bought my Prado it had a oil leak somewhere. I thought it was on the oil pan. So I asked around and thought that it might be the oil pan because it looked like it was coming out beside the [drivers side] top engine mount. I removed the pan and cleaned all surfaces and put everything back together.(took me 24hrs) Put new oil in and guess what--- same oil leak   . Now what ? Could it be the front crank seal or cam or oil pump ? Where is the oil pump on these cruisers ? Is it a big job to replace these seals ?

did you look to see if the rubber washer is still on the oil pan plug?

how much is it leaking between oil changes?

the oil leak is coming from the space between the drivers side motor mount. the timing was done @100000km. now has 123000km. Would be alot of work to pull all front engine covers to see exactly where the oil is coming from. would like to know were the oil pump is and what seals are under the timing cover.

Helps if you tell everyone what model and engine it is.
Oil pumps are usually near the oil filter;)

Oil Pressure sender loose?
