When I grease the u joints, I noticed my right side sway bar bracket mount is so rusty that it will break sooner or later. Finding out it’s common on the 100 series as the AC drain is on top of the mount. Really should have a service bulletin from Toyota. The left is in good shape. I reroute the drain tube into a larger diameter tubing into a small hole in the skid plate. I order a replacement bracket from cruiser part for $65. Took me a while to locate a reputable shop here in S Cal willing to perform the replacement. State Frame Shop in Montclair next to Ontario is excellent. Kory the shop owner, he cut out the rusty mount with just a bolt holding the sway bar. He welded a plate to reinforce the frame and then welded the cruiser part basically a modified angle bracket to the frame. Quality workmanship and very pleased, I took advantage of while you’re there scenario and replaced all the front and rear bushings. Lower control arms in the rear, and the fuel tank shields and straps as well. I ordered the parts from PartsNext with a huge discount but you do pay for shipping tho. Still worth it! Top it off with a wheel alignment and the truck ride smooth. My LC just turned 190k miles, and quarter century old so she appreciates the refresh, amazing truck and well deserved!

I was just going to get the lower control arm bushings, but for about $110 each arm it would save on labor. It really look nice on this old cruiser, broke some bolts on the brackets, the frame shop was able to weld repair them. Here’s invoice from partsnext, Borla exhaust system from Cruiser part and removed parts.
