Finally, no more steering wobble/shake

A "dampener" would be a wet towel.
A "damper" damps movement.

Check. Didn't mean to "dampen" anyone"s spirits with my misspelling

Been down this road before. Check out your panhard rod bushings (lateral control arm on the front axle). Should be tight as ****.

Like the others said, the dampner helps smooth things out but shouldn't be causing a wobble.
