After many months of research and scouring classifieds, I have found my 100. I had leads on 3 LC's and 1 LX. The LX had lived its life up north and someone had undercoated over rust. That was obviously the reason for the very good price. Not for me. The gold LC I posted a thread about earlier this week seemed great in pics, low miles, good price, but I never got around to actually seeing it in person. And since this is a long term vehicle for me, I didn't know if I could live with the gold that long. The second LC was a one owner out of FL. Everything was perfect. Low miles, 2006, grey/black interior, silver paint. But it had been smoked in its whole life. Given that the dealer thought very highly of it and wanted more for it than the closer 3rd LC, I just couldn't justify the 16 hr round trip. Which brings me to the third and final choice. 2007, one owner, well maintained, pristine interior, not gold :). The dealer even delivered from 4 hrs away. Looking forward to a slow build on this one since I will be driving it a long time. This will be my daily driver until my wife gives up her Maxima for a new car in a couple of years. Then I plan to slow the accumulated miles and let it be my around town and camping rig. So without further ado, here are the pics.

Oh and this is the only vehicle I have ever bought before I even sat in it or driven it. I wasn't worried. It's a Toyota.

First mod was third row seat removal. Tomorrow will see the Yakima crossbars added. And maybe sometime next week the running boards will be deleted.

Looks really good. Welcome. It's a good club, with lots of smart, experienced folks (after all, they all have 100s!)

Welcome to 'Mud @MattH - nice rig!

Congrats, looks like a great truck!

All the best! Just got here myself a few weeks ago...

Welcome to the club! I'll warn you, it's addictive as a DD. i'm getting ready to turn mine into a weekend driver for the Summer, but I love driving it so much, it's going to be hard. And with gas so low, it's not as painful using it all the time. How many miles?
