Glad to finally be in here and I'm looking forward to learning more about these trucks. I've had mine for 4 years and I did a ton of repairs and maintenance in the first year and nothing really since other than rebuilding the oem alternator and a new toyota battery.

I've been saving and planning for repairs and modifications, which I am starting now. I started on Monday night with a new air control valve assy and high pressure power steering line. Tonight, I scored a very clean rear liftgate to replace my extremely rusty one. Its not the same color, but I'm extremely pleased.

Previous repairs include:

AHC replaced with Ironman lift. Truck was stuck in low when I bought it.
OEM Steering Rack
Alternator Rebuild
295/75-16
Wheel bearings
Brakes
Toyota battery
New Sway bar end links
Aftermarket headlights because the oems were shattered when i bought the truck

Current list:
High pressure power steering line
Air Control Valve assy
Rear hatch replace
Driver fender replace (still searching)
Timing Belt
Waterpump
Thermostat
Fabricating a new skid plate
Small rust repairs
Replace entire rusted exhaust. Already have Revel Medallion cat back in hand and stainless intermediate pipe in the mail. Still looking for cats.
Passenger CV axle (Have all OEM parts for job including all new flange and hardware)

Nice Truck! and good luck with all the planned items you have. Where about are ya in VA? There are several clubs in VA that have a plethora of knowledge and resources. CLCC in the north (NOVA), Star City in the west (Roanoke), COVA in the east (VAbeach), and BBRC in central VA (RVA).

Please post the price you paid if you don't mind, for reference on the current market for these vehicles as they approach the 300k+ mile range.

Really curious to see how this next generation of land cruiser owners will do as these rigs are getting into higher mileage .
