I drove by this thing the other day, congrats (that dealer is relatively close to my house). Congrats, drove by the truck to take a look (not drive it though) and it looked very clean. Great buy

The dealer with have the records for the in-service date. You warrenty time frame is depedant on when it was 1st registered.

Call a Toyota dealer with your VIN and see if you are covered. If so, take it in and ask them to go stem to stern. Find anything and everything they can and fix it. Probably not anything to find, but it's best to be carefull.

If your warrenty is in effect they will cover the CD player. If the dealership is a little ways away ask them to order one and have it in stock before you roll out there to avoid a repeat trip.

Nice rig and excellent buy!!:bounce:

Thanks for the advice, i'm going to give the dealership a call today

so when are you going to chop the top, and build a buggy out of it...:flipoff2:

very nice Cruiser and you raped the dealer on the price, very good deal

Thanks for the complements, i'm amazed on how well and smooth the LC drives. Its going to take sometime to get used to the size though, my previous car was a 1992 MR2 Turbo

On another note, I went to the dealer to get my CD changer fixed. And the service guy was looking at the service records for my car and found that the CD changer was changed once before in january 08, i thought that was strange. Is a malfunctioning CD changer a common problem for the LC?

It was back for the Lexus Nakamichi systems on the early model trucks. I had mine replaced once and it started to give me problems again and replaced it with an aftermarket unit. Not sure if the newer ones resolved the problem.

Hopefully my new changer will not have any issues. Also, something funny happened at the dealer I asked for a quote for a 30k service and the quote came out to be "666" dollars which i thought was hilarious.

you stole that truck, i just paid 24k for an 03 w/ 58k miles. fk!!!

ah, you want to make sure it's scratched up to look cool, eh? good thinking! :D

(Isn't there somebody here who rolled a brand new FJC at HV a few months ago or was in Anza?) :)

theres a cold sixer in it for you if you find me one...

Definitely a steal! I've been looking close to a year here in SoCal as well and everything similar I've been seeing is at least $7k-10k over what you paid. The wife is really getting pissed at me for not getting her hooked up yet. I better not let her see this thread.

I've got a friend who'll sell me his '06 LX 470 w/24k miles for $40k but its white and I don't like the monochromatic white look of the LX's.
