Hey I finally sold my 62 and made the move to the 80. This is my first post in 80 tech which unfortunately isn't a positive one. I bought a sage 40th anniversary with 86,000 mi. Everything checked out great, original owner, service record.Anyways about two weeks later ck eng light comes on  . Cylinder 6 is misfiring becuase coolant is leaking in. Headgasket failed! I figured this was gonna happen but just not so soon after buying but anyways i'm am having toyota do the new headgasket and I figured while they were doing that I'd have them replace the water pump, thermostat, and i was just wondering if anyone had any other suggestions while they have the head out. Also doing triple diff service and complete flush of collant and replace with toyota red. Any suggestions would be great!

Get all the heater hoses near the firewall and the PHH replaced. This is also the perfect time for a valve job, and throttle body cleaning.
