that's where i filled up last night, with the 3cents of it cost me $43 and change
Edmonton (which is where I'm stuck) has Diesel at 0.73.
diesel is nice but, i would rather have a gas

$2.49/gal, McKinleyville California is where I am. Yes, I know, not really relevant except that it's less than half of what it was less than a year ago, like everywhere else. **** oil companies.

Like I've always said, we're ripped off in Canada/USA by the oil companies. Here in Guatemala Q17/gal for diesel and Q20 and up for gas. Just the way it should be.

If diesel is more expensive, as the gas companies and governments in Canada and the USA try to brainwash us with, why is it cheaper here in a developing country where there are no subsidies? It's got NOTHING to do with living in Guatemala and everything to do with being ripped off by gas companies and the government.

Yup, here too. It happens every Spring when the demand for heating fuel goes down. Most folks can't remember back that far.

We pay more taxes on fuel than than our neighbours in Washington State but have worse roads and a lot fewer of them. Hell, they can't even build anything new here that the majority of people will use without a toll. And have you traveled the the Coq in the last year? Even before the toll came off it it was obvious that not much was being done to keep it in good repair. Even with an increased fuel tax, the 3 or 4 main highways which are lifeblood of the province are a disgrace compared to what they use to be under the old Social Credit and the then Department of Holidays.
Blah, blah, blah... there will always be those who don't want to pay their fair share and expect others to pay their way. Be glad you've got paved roads to drive on and quit complaining like a menopausal woman. If you don't like paying fuel taxes then go back to Guatemala.

I am not complaining about fuel taxes, I'm complaining about the different levels of fuel taxes. If diesel is taxed at 50%/liter for instance then do the same for gasoline, don't give us all the B.S. about how expensive diesel is to refine while diesel is taxed at rates far in excess of gaoline. It's fuel, tax it equally! If you don't, THAT's hypocrisy!!
