Filled Our Bag Limit for the Year! (new '97)

Just got off the phone with the better half/CFO. She's driving our newly acquired near-mint 40th home as I type this. :) :grinpimp: :) :grinpimp: :)

You will all have to be patient until daylight allows for photography tomorrow.

The sad thing is, I can't even drive it for another month or so until I can drive home to swap out with my p/u so it can be put up on the block.

I will be stepping up from an '03 x-cab Z-71 Sierra. I'll miss it, but life is all about choices...;)

We need a little smiley face smoking a cigar for these moments. hmmm...I need to change my sig line.

Here is a pic from the PO. My better half/personal car detailer has not had time to wash off the bugs from last night's trip, so further photos will follow once that is accomplished. The PO's extensive MX records are encouraging. I am told that the EGR and starter contacts have been replaced, and there has a been a "knuckle repack" or two, as well as Redline gear oil in the transfer and diffs. Oh, and it has lockers. :D

So! when are we gonna see it on the trail. You gotta make my Piney run with it in aug.

TiredIron - We feel extremely fortunate to have found this one. So far it's everything we could have hoped for and more. The PO is a gentleman and a dedicated Toyota Owner.

Turtle - All of August is already blocked off for me...but I'm sure the wife will be interested in doing the Piney run even if I can't make it.

Very nice.

Is that the stock wood trim on the dash? I haven't seen that before.

Apparently that was installed at the dealership. It is real wood.

edit: I was misunderinformed. It seems to be a synthetic with adhesive backing. I think it may be the standard trim on 40th Anniversary rigs.
