I WISH I had the time to embark on a project to make this into an offroad camping trailer:

Fiberglass Utility Box/Bed

Maybe someone here does...

For what it's worth, they are a lot heavier than they look. My friend had the same idea, ended up selling as it was too much for his Hilux Surf.

I also believe that's for a dually truck....so even a body swap out on a m116 or m101/2 would be too wide

I like the idea though

I would build a custom frame, electric brake axle with manual parking brake... But its not going to happen so it is all just dreaming for me anyway.

The real "holy grail" is an aluminum body....I think they're around 500-600 lbs.

Looked interesting until I seen it was 88" wide. That only 8" short of eight feet which is wider then I would want to haul thru a trail. Think most cruisers would require mirror extensions to see behind on the road.

I've seen those beds made for rangers and s-10's. I've come close to buying but typically the 1000-1500 for the ones I've found.

So where is this body and how much do they want? Cheap enough and it could work nicely.
