Ok y’all, it’s that time. Less than a month from FG. Cue the late night wrenching sessions. Or are we to old for that these days? Where are the younger folk like we used to be anyway.....?

I’m hoping to tidy up the steering in my dads camper, along with a few other things, to make it up.

After chasing a 55 down and a cars and coffee meetup with Scott, I plugged away on the IFS box mounting for the histeer.... with a lil help from Nah Hampsha....

And then I ran out of wire... Just have to tack, drill, mount, tack, test, weld, test, paint, plumb, adjust, test drive, and make my bed....

Thanks Ed. Thoroughly appreciate your FG energy as well, if you have any left.
She has a bit of a ways to go, look at the springs , but should be able to button this up to drive her there. With any luck.....

Hate to point this out but we are all getting older everyday. I am working on the 80 getting it ready, Sorting out the emergency brake on the drivers side right now. Just completed exhaust repair.

I’m down to by-passing systems instead of repairing them. No heat what so ever in the 80 this year.

I like Ricks spirit!!! On mud at 4 am and cutting to the basics! Wheel, destroy, wrench, repeat. Or pull something out of the back of the driveway and get it going for fall gathering.

I love this. Makes me miss my dads old 40 We had it for at least 20 years, and we would write on the underside of hood with a sharpie when we’d do major projects or revamps.... still kick myself for not grabbing more of it when I found it destroyed in a pile on Craigslist
