Does anyone have an idea where to source a few long M13x 1.5 bolts to use as trans install guides? Bel Metric didnt even have them

Are you sure it's a m13 bolt? I don't remember that size.

have to check the die I chased the bolt with , swear it was M13 x 1.50, small print though
Don’t you want studs if you’re using them as guides? Or are you going to cut the heads off?
I also question the size. McMaster Carr doesn’t carry an M13 anything.

Yeah not sure wtf this is
, Seems a simple work around turns into a cluster. The bolts thread perfectly into the bell housing and into this 13x 1.5 die. Doubtful this was tapped and resized. Oh, using as guides if I can find any...

I didn't remember M13 when I was stabbing the H55...

Heading down the rabbit hole of zincing/yellow chromate on a few bits before hoisting the motor back in. Been a dry month unfortunately I didnt get much done. Looks like we"ll be back into some rain this week

Ramping up to hoist the motor back in and discovered I may have a visitor so....
I don’t know how valuable this is but ‘they’ say that those dryer sheets used in the clothes dryer for softening work well to keep rodents away. I used them in some old cars that were kept outdoors and never saw mice. Here in the woods there are a shi! load of them. Another option is peppermint oil. But, you’ve gotta like peppermint because it is a potent smell. Traps do it also but I felt is was better to keep them out rather than risk digging or chewing the carpets or upholstery

Pour a whole bottle of Bud in a pan and wait until morning, there'll be four or five of them still drunk and hung over. Easy to dispatch.
