Very small amount of moly.

Id focus the grease in the contact points of the clutch fork.
In the cup for the ball and the cup for the pushrod and where it contacts the throw out bearing.
Don't put enough on the splines that it slings out onto the clutch friction material.
Also check that the pilot bearing has grease. They often dont.
Thanks. Pilot bearing looked good. Good reminder for the clutch parts though. My 3 spd trans has the 3 prong PP so the contact w the bearing face is very small

I just took off my solid rust 1f pump, bought the 3 new bolts I could get, cleaned up the long one.

yeah, I think I am gonna take the newish pump from the old motor as I just recently replaced it. I'll use the bolts too. Doesn't look like the gasket is available any longer or at least I couldn't find one doing a quick search. Cruiser parts is selling the 2f gasket and marketing it as good for 1F too, even though the block hole is not round, still may work though.

That's not a real complicated gasket, I bet you could make a fine facsimile of OEM with a cereal box and scissors.

I’m not a fan of cats but the kids had a couple, one passed last year and now we have Noodles who is 9.

He has been indoor cat but pissed on something after we moved into shop and Kim kicked his butt outside during daytime.

He is a mousing machine!! Haven’t seen single mouse in shop this winter. He was stalking a mole this time. He also tangled with Pygmy rattler that got in shop this summer. Noodles is the last chapter in our cat experience although I’m sure Kim will get some for barn after he crosses the bridge.

Noodles looks squared up in that pic!

Not to turn this into a cat thread, but this guy ate more mice than I have ever seen.

When I got him I named him Max. Later I revised it to Mouse Master Max...

I bought 1 spray can last winter and used it on my frame and in the holes and seems of the rails. I have not looked at it in almost a year. What can I look at and let you know?

Oh nothing in particular, just curious if anyone's used it. It was recommended for the frame and makes sense so I sprayed it on and rubbed into the frame rails, Also gonna use Wurth Undercoating on the bottom of the stock rock plates and maybe the wheel wells. just a few details before the engine goes back in.
