Fender Vents Anyone?

Does anyone have Toyota factory fender vents they want to get rid of? I guess they would have to come from a 55, 60, or 62. I could probably find some in the classified section, but I thought I would try to find them locally first.

I am having high underhood temp. issues so I am investigating adding some vents to the fenders.

I would also consider cutting in louvers, but I don't know anyone who does that.

Comments and suggestions are welcome.

It would be neat to have a vent system much like the 55's have, hood valence and side vents. I will have to go through my 55 parts and see what I can come across

From what I have researched here on mud it seems the 80 series is set up for fender vents.

On either side of the engine bay right under the hood struts there are holes in the inner fender. These holes are roughly 6" X 6". Hot air flows out of these holes into the space in between the inner and outer fenders. So if fender vents were installed that should reduce underhood temps.

I have a few other ideas I will try before the vents, but I am planning ahead in case I need them.

from what i have read a 1" body lift does a very good job of cooling the 80. that's what i am thinking about doing.
